Bitten by Socialism (2014)
I was intrigued to read this article of TDs, since just last year I read a very thoroughly researched and well-written account of that bizarre episode in Australian history. It wasn't actually a unique "experiment", the book described several other socialist-utopian expeditions (most of them from Europe) to Paraguay during that time. But the story of the "Nueva Australia" colonists was intriguing, a fascinating study in utopia gone wrong.
TD's reflections are telling, as usual.

That was an excellent article! Once again, the breadth of TD's general knowledge impresses me, plus his reflections at the end on something most people wouldn't even notice.
