Mike: That's the point though. Other sports may have far greater potential for violence based upon how they're played, but they're not as violent. Soccer, by nature of its equipment and where it can be played, and perhaps even basketball (which seems increasingly connected with ghetto thug culture), is the sport of the world's favelas. It is highly likely to tend towards thuggery in a way that golf simply couldn't.
