Badby Wood, Northamptonshire
It was a lovely Spring day (at last) in the UK today and we went for a walk in Badby Wood in Northamptonshire. I thought I would upload some pictures I took with my DSLR camera to show you all what we're trying to protect here in the UK! ;) These have not had any processing at all.

What lovely photos, Gavin. Definitely better than a standard digital camera. I think my favourite is the first one with the purple flowers, with the tree branch in the foreground. In all of the forest photos the sunlight is beautiful, coming through the canopy of trees. Really nice.

Thanks Elliott! The exact camera I used is the Nikon D3100.
I agree, I was amazed what these DSLRs bring the photo. You automatically get that professional gloss, you can control focusing very finely and you can also decide how long to keep the shutter open so you can shots in any light. So there is still a big gulf between phone cameras and these beasts!
If anybody wants especially hi-res versions, let me know.
