How to quote text in your posts
I have been adjusting the quote formatting a little on the site. To quote text from anywhere:
To quote from another post, you can do the same as the above, but insert the poster's name as follows: [quote="Gavin"].
Any problems, please private message me.
- First of all leave a blank line after your last paragraph.
- Then paste your text.
- Then, with your text selected, click the Quote button on the editor toolbar.
- Then, leave another blank line below this before continuing your post.

Just a note - when you format the quote as above, that's what makes it appear like this:
Although, sadly, there is not much chance of me writing that!
The forum also supports embedded quotations - quotations within quotations - to one level.
